B’pora Admin distributes free masks among worshippers

YB Ne ws S r in ag ar, Apr 16 The District Administration Bandipor a whil e continuing its awareness and s ensitizat i on campaign regarding Covid-19, dist ributed fr ee mas ks among people before Friday prayers outside various mosques. On the di rections of Deputy Commissioner (DC) B a ndipora , Dr Owais Ahmad, Tehsildar Bandipora Mubashir Saleem Nazki along with h i s team d i strib uted more than 5000 mas ks amon g peop l e who were on way t o offer Friday prayers in various promin ent mosqu es of Tow n Bandipora. The teams lead by Tehsildar Bandipora, instead of imposing fines on the people who wer e not wearin g masks, dis tribu ted free mas ks with the warnin g to re ma in ca reful in future with regards to use of masks and also ask ed them to adopt covid appropriate behavior and social distancing to avoid con trac ting virus. During the campaign, the revenu e officers also appealed to the people to mainta in social d istance in Ma sji d w hile praying an d also urg ed them to use mask s at public places.
