ADC Ganderbal imposes fine of Rs 12000 on erring shopkeepers

YB News Srinagar, Apr 6 Adjudicating Officer, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba today imposed a fine of Rs 12000 on various food outlet owners, shopkeepers, traders and wholesale dealers for violating the food safety standards in the district. The fine was imposed on the erring traders, during the proceeding of cases of various blocks of district Ganderbal related to the food safety and standards, listed before the adjudicating officer. Urging food outlet operators to ensure quality and safe food items are sold too as per the government rate list, he warned that non-compliance of food safety.
