DC Kupwara chairs MDDLTFC meeting

YB News Kupwara, Apr 6 Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of Multi Departmental District Level Task Force Cell (MDDLTFC) to review the functioning of Geology & Mining Department in the district. The meeting discussed various issues relating to the mining activities of mineral blocks allotted to the successful bidders and tendering of the minor blocks. The meeting also discussed the safeguard of Nallahs, river beds and bunds. Besides, instructed all stakeholders to enforce National Green Tribunal (NGT) guidelines in letter and spirit while extracting minerals.
