Illicit liquor recovered; one held

Kathua, Apr 6 In continuation to take stringent action against production of illegal liquor menace,police team of Police Post Nagri under the supervision of IC PP Nagri in its jurisdictional area of Nagri and apprehended one person namely Sunita Devi W/O Ashok Kumar R/o Kullian Tehsil Kathua. During checking,approximately 35litres of illicit (desi) liquor was recovered from her possession illegally. Later on, lady was arrested along with recovered liquor was seized on spot. On this, instant case vide FIR No 158/2021 u/s 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered in concerned Police Station and further investigation of the case is going on.
