DC Kupwara visits Kulangam, inaugurates ISM Dispensary

YB News Kupwara, Apr 5 The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Kulangam area of Handwara subdivision to take stock of developmental activities on ground. The Deputy Commissioner (DC) inaugurated ISM Dispensary at Astaan Mohalla, Kulangam in presence of DDC Member, Rajwar, Mir Sulimaan; ADDC, Kupwara, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat; ADC, Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir; Nodal Officer, AYUSH and concerned Officers and Engineers. The Dispensary was completed at a cost of Rs.44 Lakh. On the occasion, the DC said that Indian System of Medicine is growing at a fast pace in the district and people are responding positively to the treatment being provided at AYUSHMAN hospitals in the district. He stressed upon the concerned officer to provide better services to people coming to the Dispensary for treatment. He said District Administration is putting all possible efforts to further develop the ISM in the district. The DC also planted some pine trees within the premises of the Dispensary.
