Ward 40 wins ward of the Week Challenge by JMC

Y B News Jammu, Apr 05 Ward No. 40 won the “Ward of the Week” Challenge by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) which it organized in joint collaboration with the 92.7 Big FM team led by RJ Rahul and I.E.C Team members Sahil Saini, Bobel, Ankush, Sunil and Jawahar Lal. Deputy Mayor of JMC Purnima Sharma felicitated and awarded the Ward Councillor 40 Neelam Nargotra in the presence of J&K BJP State Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, District General Secretary Karan Sharma and others. Purnima Sharma congratulating Ward Coucnillor said that this events comes with a tag line of “Lets make Jammu better in Sawachh Sarvekshan 2021”. She said that JMC conducts survey of wards to promote the eagerness for making the Wards more clean and green. She also made aware people regarding Swachh Survekshan, which was recently completed by JMC & motivated them to download Swachata App and also addressed their grievances. Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” is a flagship programme initiated on special interest of Modi ji to free India of any type of dirtiness and resultant diseases. He said that this programme is to aware local residents with the concept of Waste segregation, tri Dustin concept and to maintain a general Hygiene in our surroundings. He requested everyone to augment the effort of JMC in improving the rank of Jammu in Swachh Sarvekshan. Karan Sharma said that the cleanliness must be imbibed by us all in our inner- self to make ourselves as well as others aware, while he also threw light on various aspects regarding Swachh Bharat Mission and asked the locals be responsive in their duty. Neelam Nargotra thanked the organizers for the morale boosting programme. She said that she is overwhelmed and more energized to serve the people developing the Ward as the model one in terms of cleanliness and innovativeness. She also tabled few issues of the Ward like increase in sanitization staff and Autos, in front of Dy. Mayor for the prompt disposal. District Treasurer Neeraj Gupta, District SC Morcha President Yashpaul Shivgotra, senior leaders Parveen Ghai, Jaipal Sharma, Bablu Chand, Paramjit Kaur, Satya Bhushan Dubey, Rajesh Saini, Rahul Nargotra and other prominent were also present on the occasion.
