Army organises medical camp

Poonch, Apr 05 Entire world is suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic alongwith many prevalent diseases. People in urban areas have access to information regarding measures to be undertaken to fight the pandemic and how to prevent common hygiene related preventable diseases, whereas people of remote areas are not fortunate enough to be aware of the good hygiene practices and preventive measures for many diseases. Keeping in mind the void in health care provisioning created in Poonch District especially due to pandemic, a Medical Camp was organised at Govt Primary School, Baila, Poonch (J&K). The Indian Army Medical Officer and Nursing Assistant assisted by two civil Medical Assistants conducted the Medical Camp for free health checkup, medicine distribution alongwith day to day awareness lecture for common disease .
