BGD academy, NCC cadets organises awareness campaign for COVID-19

Poonch, Apr 04 COVID-19 is once again raising its venomous ugly hood like a black cobra across the Nation with full throttle. The so called second wave is spreading its wings like a wild fire. The signatures of tremors and the footprints is already being felt on the paradise on earth that is J&K as well, a general awakening campaign at the grass root level in order to make the local populace aware was organized by the students of Baba Garib Das Academy, in collaboration with NCC cadets of Government Degree College Poonch under the aegis of Indian Army, at Krishna Chander Park in District Poonch (J&K). The students actively participated and enacted in the road show with full zeal and enthusiasm highly inspired by the chivalry of the Indian Army forte in the region. During the show they displayed utmost preventive measures as per the WHO (World Health Organization) and MoHFW (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) guidelines issued from time to time such as: Avoid close contact, Covering of mouth and nose, avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth, stay at home when sick, keeping two yards distance, regular hand wash with soap and avoiding crowded places that could keep everyone safe from the swift, silent and deadly virus. The event brought out a strong and a vibrant message to the complete spectrum of the social community. The influence on the mind was clearly visible from the individual’s facial appearance, expression and body gait, present to witness the show to preserve the precious human life and follow safety guidelines in times of health crisis.
