French Club organises Entrepreneurs Meetup

Y B News Jammu, Apr 04 In order to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (JKUT),which is set on a big demographic dividend, an Entrepreurs Meetup was organised by French Club at Brewberrys, Jammu. This meetup was aimed to bring together startup founders on one floor. Entrepreneurs talked about their individual challenges, the way they overcame them and opened up about what they are hoping to achieve. Entrepreneurs shared their idea of their respective field and also exchanged knowledge which would help them out to work together. Prof. Dipankar Sen Gupta, Director Pooch Campus who was Chief Guest on the occasion congratulated the entrepreneurs for starting new venture, he said,” Entrepreneurship today has become a dominant and powerful ideology and generating employment and improvement of quality of life of masses of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory and entrepreneurs of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory have the ability and capability to compete with any other businessman in the world”. If India has to progress then we need to encourage startups and business based on innovative concepts, he added Rj Sarang who was the guest of honor said that young entrepreneurs have not only sustained themselves independently but have also created employment opportunities for many and these young entrepreneurs are doing very well in their respective fields. When people meet up and open up about their ventures, their network and breadth of knowledge expands, allowing them the opportunity to learn from other entrepreneurs. Saimma Imran who was another special guest on the occasion said that youth of Jammu and Kashmir union territory possess enormous talent which requires exposure across the country. Entrepreneurs who attended meetup included Bhavana Mahajan, Samarpal Singh, Neete Kour, Sushil Tagotra, Ritu Mahajan, Ankush Padha and Rahul Kohli. Entrepreneur and Founder of ‘Samarpal Institue of Languages(SPIL)’ said,” We entrepreneur may not have more knowledge but the platform provided by French Club help us to exchange ideas and learn from each other” . The programme was held under the supervision of Arun Sharma, President and Founder, French Club. Senior members of the club who were present on the occasion were Ravinder Pal Singh, Malvi Gupta, Monica Gupta, Muskan Mahajan, Nitisha Thakur and Bhumika Mahajan.
