Police arrested five bootlegger, recovered illicit liquor

Sopore, Apr 4 Sopore Police Continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society. On 03 April 2021, Police party from Police Station Dangiwacha headed by SHO Dangiwacha Insp. Imtiyaz Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Nissar Ahmad-JKPS laid Naka at Dangiwacha and intercepted a vehicle i20 bearing registration No. JK13F 2783. During search officers were able to recover 05 Bottles of Illicit Liquor from their possession. All the persons were arrested and Illicit Liquor along with vehicle were seized. In this connection, Case FIR Number 58/2021 under relevant sections of the law stands registered in Police Station Dangiwacha and investigation into the matter has been taken up. Sopore Police once always appeals the people of the District to come forward with the information regarding anti-social elements in their vicinity.
