Warm farewell accorded to retiring Scientists, Professors of SKUAST-Jammu

YB News Jammu, Feb 28 Sher-e-Kashmir university of Agricultural Sciences and Technology- Jammu today accorded a warm farewell to the retiring Officers, Scientists and Professors at a function held here at Baba Jitto Auditorium at SKUAST-J Chatha. Prof J P Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion. During the function, Prof D P Abrol, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Fellow National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) and India and Royal Entomological Society London, UK, Dr M M S Zama, Professor, Division of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology and Ex- Dean Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Dr Raman Tagar, Professor and Head, Division of Genetics and Breeding FVSc & AH, R S Pura and Dr Virender Singh Wazir, Professor, Division of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-J R S Pura were felicitated for contribution in their respective fields. The function was also attended by Dr Jag Paul Director Research and Registrar, Dr S K Gupta, Director Extension, Dr S K Gupta, Director Education, Deans of all the tree faculties namely Agriculture, FVSc & AH and Basic Sciences, Dean Student Welfare, Estates officer, Heads of the Division, Research Stations, Mega Seed Projects, Sr Scientist and Heads of KVK’s, Teaching faculty, nonteaching staff and students of SKUAST-J.
