Army extends medical facilities to populace

Rajouri, Feb 23 A medical checkup camp was organised by Indian Army for the people of the Keri, District Rajouri (J&K). The camp was organised for extending primary health care and facilitating provisioning of free diagnosis to poor and needy people of the area. A team comprising of one Medical Officer and two Nursing Assistant staff of Indian Army conducted the medical checkup and distributed the medicines. In addition, COVID-19 were also provided. After necessary consultation by the medical officer, free medicines to the needy person were also distributed. The aged and the infirm who could not traverse long distances for treatment were benefited the most by the camp. The relentless effort of the army have been widely appreciated by AWAAM.
