Army organises communal harmony meet

Kishtwar, Feb 22 With an aim to foster and reinforce the spirit of peace and communal harmony in the region, Indian Army organised Communal Harmony Meeting at Cherji of Kishtwar District. The event provided a platform to the local populace from various religions and different walks of life to interact with each other on common issues and to spread the message of unity and brotherhood. A total of 23 locals attended the meeting. The local populace and Community leaders expressed hope that such events will give a fillip to communal harmony in the region.
