New Delhi, Feb 21 James Anderson, 38, was rested for the 2nd Test in Chennai against India and England lost the game by 317 runs. Joe Root’s England, who had won the opening Test by 227 runs, saw the hosts levelling the four-match series 1-1 after the second Test. For England to qualify to the World Test Championship final at home, they need to win both matches. India, on the other hand, cannot lose another game in the series. Former England cricketer Graeme Swann believes that James Anderson could be the key for the visitors in the 3rd Test, a Day Night fixture, in Ahmedabad.
