Stolen plywood worth Rs, 50, 000 recovered, 2 held

Jammu, Jan, Jan 15 A complaint regarding plywood theft was lodged in P/S Gangyal by Nikhil Mittal S/o Parveen Mittal R/o Channi Himmat, Jammu. In this regard, case FIR No. 03/2021 U/s 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Gangyal, Jammu. On this, special teams of P/S Gangyal were constituted. The team led by SHO P/S Gangyal Inspector Raghubir Singh started an all-round investigation using all the possible means and led to rounding up of suspects namely Vidya Sagar S/O Hans Raj R/O Barot Bhadarwah A/P Digiana and Rahul Gupta S/o Kuldeep Raj R/o Channi,Jammu. During sustained questioning, the suspects confessed their involvement in the said case. Also upon his disclosure stolen items viz. 24 plywood boards, 33 Sanmica sheets & 01 plastic bucket fevicol were recovered. The arrest was made by SHO P/S Gangyal Inspector Raghubir Singh. Further investigation is going on to ascertain their involvement in any other case.
