Mumbai, Jan 14 In a big twist in the sexual harassment allegations against Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde, a BJP leader has now come forward and claimed that he was also blackmailed by the same woman. BJP leader and former MLA Krishna Hegde has alleged that the woman who accused Munde, had also tried to honey trap, blackmail and extort money from him. Writing a letter to the police, Hegde said that the woman had been calling and messaging him since 2010 and "coaxing" him to have a relationship with her. He has further claimed that the woman also stalked him and the harassment continued till 2015 but he refused to meet her. Hegde said he clearly told her he does not have any interest in any kind of relationship with her. "Through my sources, I found out that she is a dubious person who is setting up a honey trap. I totally avoided meeting her," Hegde told the police. He also said she had tried to contact him earlier this month. In his letter, the BJP leader demanded that the Mumbai Police immediately investigate the matter. Hegde said he wrote the letter after he came to know of the allegations made against Dhananjay Munde. "Today, they have targetted him, a couple of years ago it could have been Me and tomorrow it will be someone else," he added. Reacting to Hedge's allegations, the woman's lawyer said that they are not true. "I will check the complaint properly. I will speak to my client first and then can comment on this," advocate Ramesh Tripathi said. A woman has accused Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Dhananjay Munde of rape and claimed the Mumbai Police ignored her complaint.
