Kaith Biradari celebrates Sankri Devta’s Day

Jammu, Jan 14 The Kaith Biradari members drawn from different parts of the country thronged the SankriDevasthan at Langotian here today celebrate the annual day of Sankri Devta. Besides taking part in Havan and puja archana, they paid their obeisance to Sankri Devta for the welfare of self and their families. The Kaith Biradari President Hononary captain Girdhari Lal threw light on the religious significance of celebrating Sankri Devta’s day. On the occasion, the Kaith Biradari’s Committee felicitated the eminent persons, newly elected District Development Council members Vidya Motan and Darminder Lakhotra, and also the Ph.D holder Ramesh Kumar Kaith. All present over there were served parshad. Among others who participated in the celebration included Messrs R.L.Kaith, Ex Naib Sarpanch Ram Lal- Lakhotra.
