Mumbai, Jan 13 Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait has said that the farmers respect the Supreme Court's decision to stay the 3 farm bills but the protests will continue until the farm bills are repealed in the parliament. "The bills were made in the Parliament, not the Supreme Court. So that is where they need to be repealed. The protests will continue until then. We never went to the Supreme Court. Our movement is a revolution. Our movement is against the government," said Tikait before adding, "we are not looking for any other solution." Tikait asserted that the government needs to call a session and if there are MPs who raise voice against the protest, then they will note their names and let their constituents and others know. He stressed that this is all happening because there is no agriculture minister. "There are 18 ministers who look after agriculture. This is bound to happen. We have been searching for a prime minister and government. But we have not been able to find any," said Tikait. A 'Tiranga Yatra' (tricolour march) is scheduled as earlier according to Tikait on January 26. "Along with the jawans on Rajpath, there will be farmers. For the first time, I am seeing that people are stopping a Tiranga Yatra. The ones who use water cannons on Tiranga are the real Khalistanis," said Tikait. On the question of security agencies asserting that the banned group Sikhs for Justice have called for the farmers to raise a Khalistan flag at the Jan 26 parade, Tikait said, "We will not allow this and it is for the police to see that no one does it. But you never know with the government agencies these days. To make the image of the protest, they themselves cold plant someone with a flag.
