Army celebrates golden jubilee of victory in 1971 war

Jammu, Jan 13 As India celebrates 50 years of victory in the 1971 War, Sunrise Brigade part of Tiger Division paid humble tributes to the veterans of 1971 Indo Pak war as they went Live on Facebook and 92.7 Big FM on 14 Jan, airing saga of raw courage and indomitable valour of our war heroes. The war veterans, whose valour, sacrifice and exemplary courage, won the nation its victory in the 1971 Indo Pak War, recounted their experiences, "The 1971 war is remembered for the steely resolve, valour and unparalleled bravery displayed by the soldiers of the Indian Army despite numerous challenges", said LHav Nikku Ram of 8 JAKLI, recalling his encounters of battles fought in Keri Area of Sunderbani, wherein his unit repulsed three attacks through sheer grit and determination.
