Dogra Brahaman Pritinidhi Sabha celebrates Lohri Festival

Y B News Jammu, Jan 13 Dogra Brahaman Pritinidhi Sabha today celebrated Lohri Festival with enthusiasm and Ferrer. In this connection a function was organized in the premises of Brahaman Sabha, Parade, where the office bearers of the Sabha and other social and culture organizations represented on the occasion maintaining social distances and bearing masks. Haven and Puja was performed chanting with Vedic Mautras by the religious scholars Puran Ahuti was given to the bonfire. Ved Parkash Sharma, President DBPS and TawiAndolan President Chander Mohan Sharma while speaking on the occasion stressed the need of communal harmony and brotherhood. Halwa was also distributed on this occasion. Among other, who were present included M.S Katoch, Educationist, Prem Sharma, Social Activist, Subash Shastri, Gurdas Sharma.
