Army organizes cycle rally

Jammu, Jan 12 As India celebrates 50 years of victory in the 1971 War, the nation remembers the valour, sacrifice and exemplary courage of our braves who gave up their present for our future. To commemorate their sacrifice, Sunrise Brigade part of the Tiger Division organised a cycle rally in the Vijaypur & Ramgarh sector of the Samba District (J&K) on 12 Jan 21 as part of three days celebrations of the Golden Jubilee aimed at motivating the youth and reaching out to ex-servicemen. The Cycle rally was flagged off by Commander Sunrise Brigade from Jakh & terminated at Kaulpur & was followed by tea and interaction with veterans. The event will be followed by ceremonial wreath laying at Headquarters Sunrise Brigade and a live media interaction with war veterans on 13 Jan, which will be broadcast across the country over radio FM channels.
