Work hard to turn dreams into reality: Anita

Anita Thakur, Panthers Party General Secretary during an interaction with Young Bites correspondent Pooja Thakur shares her story to success
------------
Q. HOW DID YOU JOIN POLITICS? Anita: My father was in army and since my childhood my family is always ready to help others. Whenever my father was off-duty he serves the locals and helps them at any cost. Once my father was posted in border area and helped a beggar who has a lot of scratches and wounds all over his body. My father brought him home and took care of him for several days. I am very obsessed with my father’s helping nature and because of that I decided to serve people. Prof. Bhim Singh is our family friend, they supported me to join Panthers Party and also I am influenced with his social cause. I am a General Secretary of Panthers Party but we don’t do politics we do social service. Q. TELL SOMETHING ABOUT WOMEN ABUSE? Anita: I as a social worker and General Secretary stand with whomsoever need help, I don’t believe in caste, community and racism, I always stand with truth and the truthful. There are no visible changes in the society for crime against women, even the crime cases are increasing rapidly. We can make our society safe for women only by inculcating morals values in teenagers. Parents and schools should come together to teach values and respect towards other gender. Q. What is your message? Anita: I want to tell all the parents to treat their children equally. Parents should teach their boy to respect girls. Boy should learn how to respect and treat girls equally. A woman is someone’s daughter, sister, mother and wife. Alone woman is not an opportunity rather is a responsibility. When society will understand these things the girls will be safe.
