Jugal kick-starts renovation work of community hall

Y B News Jammu, Jan 11 Today a function was organized in ward no. 12 in which Member of Parliament, Jammu-Poonch Jugal Kishore Sharma were invited as Chief Guest. He along with Chairman, Social Justice Standing Committee and Corporator W.no 12, Jeet Kumar Angral inaugurated the renovation work of Dr. B.R Ambedkar Community Hall at Krishna Nagar Ward no. 12. The Member Parliament sanctioned Rs. 19.20 Lacs for renovation of the community hall from his CDF Fund. They also inaugurated Ayushman Bharat Card camp and started the registration of public for Ayushman Card in the ward. During the function Jugal Kishore Sharma in presence of Jeet Angral distributed the Congratulation letter to Pension beneficiaries of the ward. They also handed over Domicile certificate to the beneficiaries of the ward. On this occasion while addressing the gathering, the Chairman thanked the Member Parliament for gracing the ceremony with his presence and said that he hope to work together to be able to help people like this in future too. The Chairman also made aware Hon’ble Member of Parliament about long pending demand of people of his ward. He said that his ward is one of the oldest and densely populated wards of Jammu city. The lane and streets here are very tight, with barely a vehicle passing at a time. Due to which people have to face a lot of difficulties in time of ceremonies, marriage, illness and death, also at time emergency the matter becomes very serious as there is a very tight space for emergency vehicles to reach the spot. He has already written to higher authorities for the same and till now nothing has been done. He requested the Member Parliament to take necessary action to fulfil the pending demand of the public. He also submitted a memorandum regarding the demand to Member Parliament. The Minister of Parliament listened to the demand made by the Chairman. He agreed that it is a genuine demand and said that he will surely take it forward to the authorities and will make sure that it is fulfilled as soon as possible. On the occasion BJP State Publicity Secretary Ayodya Gupta Mandal President keshav Chopra, State BJPSCM Vice President Krishan Kumar Digra SCM Jammu West President Yash Pal Shivgotra, and Mandal team including Surjit Singh Chib, varinder Dogra, Ramesh thakyal, Anil angral, Deepak Kumar Ward president Kuldeep Kumar, Akshay Gupta, Neelam Devi, Kanta Devi, Arjun Gupta, Manmohan Sharma, Tarun Angral, Swarmn Samyal and Labha Ram.
