Bootlegger nabbed with 4 bottles and 18 halfs of Excise Liquor

Arnas, Jan 11 Today at around 1730 hrs Police Party of Police Station Arnas and PCP Dharmari laid a surprise naka and during naka checking at Dhaman apprehended one person namely Balbir singh S/O Vijay Ram R/O Mahore who while seeing naka of Police tried to ran away from the spot. But acting promptly Police Party apprehended the said person and during checking 18 halves@375 ml each, 4 bottles @750ml each of JK Desi Whiskey were found in possession of above named person illegally. On this an instant case with FIR no. 4/21 u/s 48(a) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Arnas, investigation taken up.
