Theft case solved, accused held, stolen property recovered

Sopore, Jan 11 On 05 January 2021 Police Post Watergam received a written complaint from one Javaid Ahmad Mir S/O Mohammad Dilawar Mir R/O Rohama Rafiabad, proprietor of Peace Automobiles located at Saidpora Rafiabad & stated therein that theft has happened in his workshop, as thieves have broken the shutter and stolen the generator and motor. On this information a case FIR No. 08/2021 U/S 454, 380 IPC was registered in Police Station Dangiwacha and investigation was taken up . During investigation, police inspected scene of occurrence & completed all legal formalities, some suspects were identified. The suspects were called to PS for questioning, after verifying the facts and proper investigation one suspect was zeroed and apprehended alongwith other two accomplices & while questioning they disclosed their involvement in the said crime & on their disclosure the stolen property worth lacs were recovered. The case has been worked out just within the period of 5 days by Sopore Police under the supervision of SDPO Rafiabad Shri.Nissar Ahmad-JKP. The team of Rafiabad Police comprising of SHO Police Station Dangiwacha Insp. Dr. Yasar Mehmood, DO Police Post Watergam SI Imitiyaz Ahmad played a vital role during the investigation of the case.
