BHATIA WELCOMES NEW J&K INDUSTRIAL POLICY

Jammu, Jan 11 Er. Kuldeep Singh Bhatia, HOD Mechanical Government Polytechnic chaired a meeting of the department to discuss the impact of J&K new Industrial Policy on admissions, employability of Final year/pass out student’s of Mechanical Engineering Department and said the new J&K Industrial Policy would increase the admissions and employability of students as it open doors for huge investment in the industrial sector, health and medical education, tourism Industry, real estate and other sectors which will provide job opportunities to the local skilled youth in the private sector. It is already said that this Policy will bring industrial revolution in Jammu and Kashmir and will generate 4.5 lakh to 5 lakh jobs for the youth of the Union Territory. So HOD Mechanical Er. K.S Bhatia urged the youth of UT to get skilled themselves by taking admissions in Polytechnics fully functioning with state of the art machinery under Department of Skill Development J&K. It is worth mentioning here that recently Department of Skill Development J&K had signed a MOU with Tata Technologies in which two centers for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training (CIIIT) had been developed at the cost of Rs 360 crore one at Government Polytechnic Baramulla and another at Government Polytechnic Jammu.
