After repealing Art 370, Gujjars gets legitimate rights under BJP regime: Sethi

Kathua, Dec 3 The model set by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in running the country is matchless and has put a big question mark on the ability of other parties which ruled rather misruled the country for over 70 years. This was stated by Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Surendra Singh Nagar while addressing series of meetings in connection with DDC polls at Gujjar Basti Jarian, Nagri, Kathua. The Member Parliament said that people now know without an iota of doubt that it is BJP and only BJP which has the potential to satiate their aspirations as other political outfits in J&K are ditto copies of one another with hypocrisy, deceit and bigotry their key traits and sowing seeds of hatred among masses as their sole agenda. “The saffron party has given Gujjars their due rights and status in the UT. BJP has given away as much as 34 tickets to candidates belonging to Gujjar community in District Development Council (DDC) elections,” Yudhvir said and added that BJP is the only party that has felicitated the community by this number of DDC tickets. “DDC elections are being held in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir first time and these are the first major elections being held after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 (A).
