Australia vs India

Canberra, Dec 3 Australia's latest international cricketer Cameron Green shared his experience of bowling to Virat Kohli and facing quality spinners like Ravindra Jadeja in the third ODI against India in Canberra on Wednesday. Green, who got his international cap from Steve Smith before the match, made his debut in Australia's 13-run defeat in the dead-rubber contest at the Manuka Oval. The hosts managed to clinch the three-match series 2-1 after winning the first-two ODIs against Kohli's team. Green gave away 27 runs from his 4 overs in the final match during which he also got the chance to have a crack at India captain Kohli, the top-ranked batsman in the 50-over format. The 21-year-old allrounder later spoke about what all he observed while bowling against the Delhi cricketer. "Bowling to Virat you can just see there is a step up in how good of a cricketer they are. I tried to bowl a bumper to Virat and he was onto it so quick," Green said on Thursday. Green also got to bat at No. 5 during Australia's unsuccessful run chase of 302 in which he contributed with 21 runs off 27 balls with a four and a six. He got out to chinaman Kuldeep Yadav in the 31st over and later praised the quality of spin bowling he faced against India. "Their spinners, I haven't faced quality like that. Jadeja is a beautiful bowler who knows exactly what he's trying to do: Spin some away from you and dart one back in. "You can do as much research and watch as much footage as you want to get an understanding how they bowl. But it's a different beast out in the middle.
