Sydney, Nov 30 Australia's premier batsman Steve Smith revealed he was suffering from a 'bad dose' of vertigo and wasn't sure of playing the 2nd ODI against India in Sydney on Sunday. Smith said it was the Australian team doctor who helped him to overcome the issue and get ready for the crucial fixture at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. Steve Smith hit a 62-ball hundred and helped Australia post a mammoth total of 389, their highestever in ODI cricket against India. It was Smith's second successive hundred of the series as he had hit an identical hundred in the series opener wherein Australia posted 374. Smith looked in no discomfort as he was finding the boundaries right from the word go. He walked in after a hundredplus opening stand between Aaron Finch and David Warner and took on the Indian attack that looked insipid for the second successive time in the series. "I didn't know I was playing today. I had a really bad dose of vertigo this morning and I was struggling until ... I came down early to have a hit and a bit of a run around," Smith had said, as quoted by cricket.com.au, after his match-winning hundred. "The doctor, I think he performed six Epley manoeuvres on me this morning and got the crystals out of my ears and I was struggling for a bit. Just pleased to be able to get out here and play another good innings and help the team." Smith's 104 from just 64 balls helped Australia seal an unbeatable 2-0 lead as India succumbed.
