New Delhi, Nov 26 Ahead of the first ODI international against India in Sydney on Friday, Australia limited overs skipper Aaron Finch said that the visitors have plenty of talent in their squad to replace Rohit Sharma who is likely to be out of most of the tour due to an injury he sustained in the Indian Premier League. Finch also said that Mayank Agarwal is a quality player and the Australian squad believes that the Kings XI Punjab batsman would be the replacement for Rohit Sharma in the ODI squad. "He (Rohit Sharma) is obviously a great player and someone who has had quite a bit of success against us in the past. It (the injury) is unfortunate," Finch said in a virtual media interaction ahead of the series opener. "You want to play against the best players all the time but whoever he is going to replace him, possibly Mayank, he has been in great form as well. So you take away a lot of experience but you also bring in another quality player," Finch added. India is likely to have Mayank Agarwal partner Shikhar Dhawan at the top of the order in the first ODI in Sydney on Friday. The Australian skipper also added that his side is not going to play an extra all-rounder "just for the sake of it". This is being looked upon as an indication that Steve Smith is likely to come into the squad in place of the injured Mitch Marsh. In England, Australia decided to go ahead with three all-rounders to support their four-prong bowling attack of Mitch Starc, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Adam Zampa. The all-rounders given the opportunity in England in September were Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell and Mitch Marsh. Mitch Marsh is out injured and is likely to be replaced by Steve Smith. That’s likely to be the only change in the Australia line-up from the team that played the 3 ODI in England.
