Panaji , Oct 20 Goa Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Kavlekar has lodged a complaint, claiming his mobile phone was hacked. Chandrakant Kavlekar also claimed that an objectionable clip was also sent to a WhatsApp group of which he is a member. According to reports, a pornographic video was shared from Goa deputy chief minister Chandrakant Kavlekar's mobile phone to a WhatsApp group he is part of. The video was sent at 1.20 am on Monday on the WhatsApp group 'Villages of Goa'. Meanwhile, Kavlekar has lodged a complaint with the state's cyber police station after the matter came to light. Chandrakant Kavlekar said the message was sent when he was asleep. He has demanded that police take strict action against the people involved. In his complaint, Kavlekar said, "I would like to file a complaint against some miscreants who have sent a video containing obscene material to one of the groups named 'Villages of Goa' on Whatsapp. The 'Said' video was sent to this a f o r e m e n t i o n e d WhatsApp group where I was one of the members and it was intentionally masked in my name with some criminal intent. It may be noted that the message was sent to only this group out of the many WhatsApp groups where I am a member". Kavlekar further says that he was asleep when the video was sent. "Also, the time when this message was sent, I was nowhere near the phone and I was fast asleep. There have been many such attempts in the recent history to defame my name and project a wrong image of me in front of the public".
