New Delhi, Aug 6 Chennai Super Kings star Suresh Raina has no doubts that MS Dhoni will be at his absolute best in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 despite having not played competitive cricket for more than a year. Suresh Raina, who has been training with Rishabh Pant at his facility in Uttar Pradesh, said fans will soon see MS Dhoni's helicopter shots in the UAE and that his CSK captain is pumped for the 13th edition of IPL, scheduled to be held from September 19 to November 10. MS Dhoni, according to Raina, has been working hard on his fitness and skills over the last few months. Dhoni has not played competitive cricket since India's exit in the 2019 World Cup. Dhoni led a training camp in Chennai in March but it was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. With the IPL missing the April-May window, speculation was rife about Dhoni's future but the 3-time IPL champion is gearing up for the postponed edition. "I was there with him and he was practising really hard (before the pandemic). Hopefully, you will see his helicopter shot soon," Suresh Raina told the Hindustan Times. "He's been a great brand ambassador for IPL and such a great cricketer. You will see him in his best fighting spirit. He's all pumped up and looking forward to going to UAE and entertaining all his fans." Chennai Super Kings are known for their success in slow pitches likes the ones on offer in Chennai and Suresh Raina believes the experience in the side will help them adapt to the conditions.
