Plantation drive carried out in GDC, Nowshera

Y B News Nowshera, July 7 To make the college campus Green and Shady GDC Nowshera conducted a tree plantation drive today in which teaching as well as non-teaching faculty members planted the tree saplings. The saplings of a variety of trees such as Kapoor, Silver Oak, Reetha, Arjun etc. were donated by Ramesh Chander Sharma, a Govt. teacher who own a private nursery at Siot (Sunderbani). The Principal of the college, Dr. Surinder Kumar, stressed upon the need and importance of tree plantation to decrease pollution, soil erosion, floods and many more benefits of trees
