DDC Kishtwar reviews progress of CSS under DISHA

Y B News Kishtwar, July 7 District Development C o m m i s s i o n e r (DDC),Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara today chaired meeting of district and Sectoral officers under district level District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) here at DC office, Kishtwar and reviewed the progress of various Central Sponsored Schemes. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Pawan Parihar, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar Dr Amir Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishore Singh Katoch, Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, Assistant Labour Commissioner Kishtwar Anoop Kumar, District Social Welfare Officer Tariq Ahmad Qazi ,CEO Kishtwar Dr Kuldeep Sharma ,CMO Kishtwar Dr R S Manhas among other district and sectoral officers of various departments. During the meeting, DDC in details reviewed the Sector wise physical and financial progress of various developmental works being executed under various central Sector, Central Sponsored schemes and UT based schemes. Detailed deliberation was a held on various schemes being implemented in different sectors of the district viz. Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme , Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, , Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, National Social Assistance Programme, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, Jal Jeevan Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchaye Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, National Health Mission, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Mid Day Meal Scheme, Self Help Groups, Mission for Horticulture Development, Pradhan Mantri Ujwalla yojana etc While reviewing the implementation of the 05 key Schemes Viz. Ayushman Bharat ,Jal Jeevan Mission, PM KISSAN ,Din Dayal Upadhay Gramin Jyoti Yojana and Swachh Bharat Mission in the most Backward areas of district ,he directed the concerned district officers to identify the backwards areas with lowest 25% development in every parameters like Health care, education, roads, pensions coverage etc besides ensure the targeted development of these backward areas. All the executing agencies were directed to maintain a data base of photographs of every stage of execution of work. Focus should be on the geo-tagging of all the developmental works, he retierated. He also stressed on the awareness generation and projection of the schemes and the good work of departments in each nook and corner of district. On the issue of the development of zeera park at Paddar and Saffron park at kishtwar ,he directed the Chief Agriculture Officer to pace up the work for the identification of the land where not available and where land is available,CAO was asked to submit the DPR within 15 days time. He exhorted upon ACD kishtwar to complete the job card verification ànd to ensure that all the Labourer returned from outside UT during COVID-19 lockdown is registered and provided.
