HSS demands dismissal of officer responsible for trouble in yatra

Jammu, June 29 State President of Hindustan Shiv Sena, Vikrant Kapoor Urged Lt. Governor G.C. Murmu to immediately make public the action taken against the IAS cadre officer who ‘created hurdles’ during Shri Amarnath Yatra’s first prayer. He demanded that the officer responsible for this should be sacked immediately. He said that the matter is related to the faith of Hindus and the Hindu community wants to know what action the government has taken so far against the officer who ‘created hurdles’ during Amarnath Yatra’s first prayer. Hindustan Shiv Sena President Vikrant Kapoor said this while speaking during a press conference here today. Hindustan Shiv Sena President Vikrant Kapoor had strongly opposed the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board to perform the first puja at the Talab Tilo office in Jammu and said that the Shrine Board's move has deeply hurt the faith of Hindus. The Shrine Board then complained to the Lt. Governor's office that an IAS cadre officer had attempted to ‘created hurdles’ during Amarnath yatra’s first prayer. LG G.C. Murmu has taken serious note of this complaint. The UT administration then asked the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) to take action against that IAS officer. Vikrant Kapoor demanded that it should also be investigated why Shri Amarnath Shrine Board performed the first puja in Jammu. He demanded from the Lieutenant Governor to conduct a high-level inquiry into the entire case and take strict action against the officials responsible for it. He said that people have started to doubt the functioning of the Shrine Board regarding this matter. He said that it is a matter related to the faith of Hindus and more importantly, everybody wants to know about what action has been taken so far against the officer who tried to ‘create hurdles’ during Amarnath yatra’s first prayer.
