Lockdown Imposed in Bhaderwah after some cases reported , MC disinfect quarantine centres

MOHD MAJID MALIK Bhaderwah, June 1 As some cases were reported yesterday from two administrative quarantine centers in Bhaderwah, the District administration today taking preventive measures, imposed lockdown with certain restrictions to prevent spread of the COVID-19 in Bhaderwah . All public transport remained suspended;however, essential services such as ration shops, chemists etc were seen open in whole Bhaderwah .The general public has been advised not to believe in rumours and take all preventive steps as communicated by the government and local administration from time to time. People have also been advised to stay indoors and not to come out unless there is an urgency and there is no need to panic , said Tehsildar Bhaderwah Zeeshan Tahir while talking to media persons . He urged upon the people not to come out of their houses without any reason and obey all orders . Meanwhile , the Municipal Committee Bhaderwah disinfect all the quarantine centres, established by the district administration in and around the Bhaderwah town . Executive Officer MC Bhadewrah Mohd Ashraf Zargar reviewed and supervised the sanitation at all the quarantine centres included at community hall and in a private hotel located near Bhaderwah campus . “These sanitation facilities are continuously maintained and the surroundings of these centres would also be kept clean,” said the EO . The MC has also deputed sanitation workers and staff from the last two months to collect garbage twice a day from the quarantine centres in Bhaderwah . The MC has also provided PPE kits to the workers who are working at these centres.
