Shamim Bano appointed senior Vice President of Kupwara

YB News Srinagar, June 1 President of Bharatiya Janata Party Kupwara District, Mir Mohammad Sofi today nominated social activist and BJP senior leader Shamim Bano alias Shanno Senior Vice President of Kupwara.Speaking on the occasion, Sofi said that Shamim Bano is a energetic leader and holds good position in society and her new appointment will definitely strengthen the party further in Kupwara. He hoped that she will always work for implementation of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and for the development of poor and downtrodden .He said special care is always taken to choose those whose commitment to the party is high. Sofi further said that Union Government at the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was committed to uplift the living standards of the poor and downtrodden through various welfare measures. Listing out the achievements of the BJP government at the centre, he said seven crore poor families have been provided with LPG supply, eight crore people provided with toilet facility and more than 60 crore people benefitted under the Prime Minister’s health insurance scheme,He hailed Rs 20 lakh crore economic stimulus announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the world's largest holistic package. He said it was not just a financial package but a reform stimulus, a mindset overhaul and a thrust in governance.PM Modi has laid the foundation of India leading the world in the 21st century and an 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' (self reliant India) is the 'mantra' for driving this change.He said the PM's announcement would lift the country.
