2 drug peddlers arrested, contraband substance recovered

Bandipora, June 1 Bandipora Police continuing its drive against the menace of drugs has arrested two drug peddlers. On reliable information that some persons are supplying drugs among youth, police party of PS Bandipora led by SHO PS Bandipora arrested two persons namely Mohd Arif Wani resident of Bandipora and Shamus Ud Din resident of Naz Colony Bandipora and recovered 1800 capsules of psychotropic drug Spasmo- Proxyvon from the house of Mohd Arif Wani. In this connection Case FIR No.56/2020 U/S 8/22,29 NDPS act has been registered at Police Station Bandipora and further investigation of the case is going on. General Public is requested to come forward with any Information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances will be dealt strictly as per law.
