5 men thrash 70-year-old Dalit

Jaipur, Mar 15 A 70-year-old Dalit man, father of a police constable, was allegedly thrashed by five men on suspicion of mobile theft in Rajasthan's Sikar district. The man was identified as Madan Lal Meena. The incident took place on March 4 after the accused abducted the old man from a fair and took him to a deserted place, where he was brutally beaten. The entire incident was allegedly filmed by the accused and the video of the incident went viral on social media on March 5. After incessant thrashing, the old man was abandoned at the Neem Ka Thana bypass in an unconscious state. In the alleged video, the old man was heard pleading that he did not steal the mobiles.
