Billawaria kick-starts work of lane, drain

Jammu, Feb 27 Baldev Singh Billawaria, chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) kick started the work of lane, drains along with Councilor Neena Gupta of ward number 50. The work was started near Gauri Shankar temple of Channi Kamala. Balwan Singh, Satish Kumar, Swarn Singh, Vicky Charak, Anand Ram and Vaishali Gupta were also present on this occasion. On the occasion, Chairman Billawaria said that development work is going on fast in Gandhi Nagar and will soon emerge as Gandhi Nagar Modern Assembly. Billawaria said that although the Jammu Municipal Corporation is currently lacking infrastructure, efforts are being made to provide better development in the Jammu city from what the corporation and that the Municipal Corporation is constantly being pressurized on this matter, more infrastructure should be provided for the betterment of people of the Jammu city. He said that despite the limited income of the corporation, continuous development works are being done in every area for the past one year and today people have realized how important the role of the corporation is for the betterment of the Jammu city. He appealed general public to come forward to keep their city clean, green and said that it is not even a matter of the corporation to clean the city until the desire of the people of the city is made clean.
