Jammu-Samba Sports Festival enters 3rd day

Jammu, Feb 19 On day third of intrazone Jammu-Samba Sports Festival, 2020, Govt. P.G College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu defeated GCW Parade by 3-1 (26-24,09-25, 25- 23, 25-17) in final match of Volleyball (W) tournament. In Kabaddi(M), GGM Science College defeated GDC Akhnoor by 8 points.In third match, MAM college defeated GDC R. Pura by 43 points. In first semi final match GDC Paloura won by 19 points from GDC Kunjwani. 2nd Semi Final MAM College won by 8 points from GGM Science College. In kho-kho (M) GDC R.S Pura won by 03 points from MAM College in Semi Final-I GDC Jindrah won by 3 points from GGM Science College in Semi Final II. In Semi Final match of Kho-kho (W) Govt. P.G College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu won from GCW Parade with difference of 2 seconds. In Semi Final-II of Kho-Kho (W) GGM Science College won by 7 points from GDC Khour. Dignateries who were present on the occasion are Dr Surinder Kumar (Convenor, Sports Committee), Prof. B.D Sehgal, Prof. Sunil Dutt, Dr Davinder Kour, Prof. Eisha Gohil, Dr Roopali Slathia, Physical Director, Mr. Raman Sharma, (Pharmacist), Incharges of various teams from different colleges and match officials.
