REMEMBERING PULWAMA MARTYRS TODAY

Pulwama attack is one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in which more than 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were martyred. The Pulwama attack happened on this day one year back, when a Jaish suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives into their bus in Pulwama district. The attack also left many critically wounded. The Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed had claimed the responsibility for the attack. The police had identified the suicide bomber as Adil Ahmed alias Waqas Commander from Kakapora in Pulwama. One year after the deadly Pulwama terror attack, the family members of a martyr are hopeful that the government will be able to find out the perpetrators and take strong action against them. Family members of martyred CRPF jawan Maneshwar Basumutary have appealed to the government to take strong action against the attackers soon. Wife of the martyred jawan, Sanmati Basumutary, said that almost one year has gone, but the attackers are yet to be found out. The villagers of the Tamulpur area also appealed to the government to take appropriate measures to find out the perpetrators of the Pulwama terror attack. The loss of so many security personnel while on duty will be mourned across the country for years. India lost so many young soldiers, but unfortunately people forget the things very easily. The same day was Valentine’s Day and in spite of huge loss of our brave men, the people especially the young generation was buzy celebrating the day with their loved ones. The deadly attack left the national minded shattered, but many were buzy in posting valentine’s day messages on social media. As an Indian, we feel shame for such people who don’t behave responsibly and for whom nation comes last. The day will be marked as a black day in the history of nation. The spirit of nation should be that the youth of nation should spare some time today to remember the martyrs of Pulwama. The spirit of nation should be to pay homage to the departed souls today . The spirit of nation should be to remember the sacrifices of our soldiers who selflessly sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation. The spirit of nation should be that before posting valentine’s day messages on social media today, we should take oath to do good for our country in our own capacity. We all can contribute for our country in our own capacity, and we all should do it.
