Randhawa hoists tricolor at many places

Jammu, Jan 27 Former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, hoisted tricolor at 26 places in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment on the eve of 71st Republic Day. The main places include Narwal Bala, Gorkha Nagar, Rajiv Nagar, Bathindi, Dashmesh Nagar, Kunjwani, Chatha, Rapipur Satwari and other places where Randhawa hoisted tricolor and addressed people on the occasion. While addressing people on the eve of Republic Day Randhawa said that it is the first Republic Day after the abrogation of Article 370 which has been celebrated with the spirit of patriotism across Jammu and Kashmir. Randhawa urged upon the people to inculcate the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among the young buds who are the future of the nation. He said that Constitution of India was adopted on January 26, 1952 after India got independence from Britishers. He said that many people sacrificed their lives during the freedom struggle and it is our duty to uphold this independence till our last breath. He said that even today many our soldiers are sacrificing their lives for their motherland. He said that the Constitution of India drafted under the chairmanship of Dr B.R Ambedkar is a wonderful constitution across the globe that provides equal rights to all the citizens and religions. “People from all religions live here peacefully and practices their religion as per their customs and traditions which is the unity in diversity of this country”, Randhawa added.
