DDC takes stock of snow clearance operation, availability of essentials

YB News Kulgam, Jan 20 District Development Commissioner, Kulgam Showkat Aijaz Bhat today visited Noorabad area to take stock of snow clearance operation, availability of essentials and restoration of power supply. The DDC visited Watoo, Aasnoor, Manzgam, Avil, K.B.Pora, Batpora, Lisarpora, Yaroo, D.H.Pora, Nihama and adjoining areas. En-route, he interacted with the locals and sought feedback regarding availability of essentials and status of snow clearance. The DDC also inspected various ration distribution centers to take stock of distribution process and availability of food grains. Various deputations at Watoo, Manzgam and Aasnoor apprised about their grievances and issues and put forth various demands. While giving patient hearing to the issues and grievances of people a number of demands and issues were redressed on-the spot.He directed the officers to ensure that grievances are redressed on fast track basis. The DDC was informed that snow has been cleared from all major and inner roads water and power supply has also been restored across the District. The DDC was accompanied by were ACR, CMO, Executive Engineers of R&B,PHE, PMGSY and Mechanical department, besides other concerned.
