Y B News Kathua Jan 20 Former minister and senior Congress leader Dr Manohar lal Sharma said that BJP government has completely failed on developmental front and termed visit by 36 union minister a meaningless, futile exercise aimed at only spreading fake propaganda and divert common masses from the burning issues of the country. On recent inauguration of multipurpose hall for GDC Billawar by Union Minister, Dr Sharma told that the said hall was sanctioned back in 2011- 2012 when he was MOS for higher education with estimated cost of 5.06 cr and was handed over to J&K Projects construction company (J&KPCC) and even work was started and finished some years ago but now BJP leadership is busy only in cutting ribbons and taking credit for the projects initiated and completed by previous Congress Govt. He said on one side BJP leadership is busy in abusing the congress workers and its leadership from top to bottom and generally say that congress hasn’t done anything in past 70 years and on the other hand they are busy in cutting ribbons and taking credits for the projects/ works initiated and started by congress and changing the names of the welfare schemes started by UPA government. He further said that no work is visible on ground and nothing been done in last 6 years by BJP government but BJP leadership is busy in spreading fake and false propaganda . He said BJP leadership to show their report card regarding the work they have done for Billawar and district Kathua. Manohar said after failing to live up to the people's expectations, the government was resorting to "gimmicks and ministerial shows" which would meet the same fate as its earlier drama of Back to Village programme 1 & 2. "It is a publicity stunt, a pressure tactics, a holy hypocrisy and a survival mantra in the face of fast dissipating credibility of the BJP which wants to bring almost half of the central ministers to disseminate its political philosophy at the cost of public exchequer without analyzing the financial fallouts of such gigantic roller coaster exercise upon a cashstarved UT like J&K," he said. He further criticized BJP for misuse of statemachinery for meeting out its political motives and said they know that their government has done nothing for the common masses so now taking shoulder of UT government and machinery.
