Chinar Corps, FTII organizes acting workshop

Y B News Srinagar, Jan 20 Chinar Corps and Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune are organising a Basic Acting workshop for the youth of Srinagar City. Approx 40 children of varied age groups of Srinagar City came forward to join the course, which commenced on 20 Jan 2020. It was inaugurated by the Deputy General Officer Commanding, 31 Sub Area, Brig Salabh Sonal in the presence of Professor Joy Fernandes, FTII, Pune and various other dignitaries. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy General Officer Commanding, 31 Sub Area emphasised on the Army’s relentless & continued effort towards personality development of young talent in the valley as also nurturing cultural heritage. He also highlighted that such events not only provide a good employment opportunity to the youth but will also give them confidence to face the world. Further he appreciated the efforts of FTII for their initiative for the youth of Kashmir.
