Billawaria thanks LG for interacting with Councilors

Y B News Jammu, Jan 20 Chairman Health Sanitation Committee, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Baldev Singh Billawaria thanked respectable LG Girish Chandra Murmu for coming to the corporation premises to listen to the demands of the municipal councilors of Jammu and described his interacted with journalists. Billawaria said that he submitted a memorandum to the Lieutenant Governor for the development of Jammu city. In these demands they have been told that there is a huge shortage of infrastructure, developmental funds and required man power at the present scenario. Billawaria said that Jammu Municipal Corporation while the Health Sanitation Wing is working without arms and fighting the problems of new wards from the old structure itself earlier there were 71 wards which now increased to 75 but there is no increase in sufficient facilities for the sanitation of every individual of the corporation to create healthy environment in the city. Billawaria put the demand from the Lt. Governor about two “Solid Waste Management” with a capacity of 300 metric tons and also two “Sewerage Treatment Plant” of new technology which are of huge capacity, so that the Jammu city garbage can be co mpletely eliminated. Billawaria said that a group of 32 councilors from Jammu had visited Gujarat and saw the mechanism, in fracture and their technique which was used to developed Sabarmati River Front as the Model River in the country. When the councilors saw River Front they were highly influence to see River Front that a rare example for us and they demanded same treatment must be given to Tawi River which Called “Surya Putri” which is lifeline of Jammu. He raised the demand of giving the status of District Hospital to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital located in Gangyal. He also raised the demand to preserve the historic Kunjwani pond which is under the watch of the land mafia, they are encroaching. Billawaria demand of giving relief to the people of the city from the huge electricity bills, by putting an amnesty scheme on the electricity bills from the Lt. Governor and waived the interest and took the bill from them in easy installments. Billawaria said that Lt. Governor listened demand patiently and assured the demands will be taken gradually. Billawaria Complemented Jagat Parash Nadda to taking the highest responsible post as a National President of Bharatiya Janata Party and said his efforts to make BJP to strengthen to highest level.
