People of Bela wala urge PHE for regular water supply

Toseef R Ganai Mandi Jan 20 Public of remote areas of border district Poonch, Block Loran, Panchayat Bagalkot, village Bela Wala have lambasted the Public Health Engineering Department (PHE) for its failure to maintain regular water supply in the remote areas of the district during winter. According to reports the locals of the area are being forced to accumulate snow and melt it to fulfill their water needs. The reports further said that they are using this melted water for cooking and drinking purposes which may affect their health badly. Sarpanch Mohd Rafiq and Tazeem Akhtar urged upon the Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Rahul Yadav to intervene into the matter and direct the PHE authorities to ensure that the people of this village may get regular water supply.
