Police arrests a notorious drug peddler

YB News Srinagar, Jan 20 Police in its recent action against drug dealings in Budgam arrested a notorious drug peddler and seized psychotropic substance from his possession. Officers at a checkpoint established near village Kremshore intercepted an individual identified as Ajaz Ahmad Malik resident of Dreygam Khansahib. Officers at the check point have recovered 12 Kgs of cannabis powder from his possession. A case FIR No. 05/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in police station Khansahib. The accused has been arrested and shifted to Police station Khansahib where he remains in custody. Initial investigation reveals that the accused is involved in supplying Charas.
