Five days basic training course concludes

Jammu, Jan 20 The closing ceremony of 05 days Basic Training course to 40 civilians of CD Division No. 04 held at Gandhi Nagar Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, Additional Director General of Police Homeguards/Civil Defence & UTDRF J&KJammu, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP I/C DIG, HG/CD & UTDRF Jammu and under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. During 05 days Basic Training, the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, Fire man lift, and firefighting etc were given by the Civil Defence Instructors. While speaking on the occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu (Dy.SP), Shashi Thakur, Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden & Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden, R. Vijay Magotra, Divisional Warden and Dharan Kutty highlighted the role of Civil Defence and also shares their views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do’s and Don’ts during manmade/ natural disaster on the occasion of closing ceremony of 05 days basic training course w.e.f. 15-01- 2020 to 20-01-2020. Local civilians of CD Division No. 04 Gandhi Nagar Jammu appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for closing of 05 days Basic Training course held at Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
